​​The  Mama House Legacy  Fund

Ms. Yvette passed away Wednesday, July 8th, 2020, in the loving presence of her family. She has now taken her place amongst the ancestors and she will always be in our hearts and a part of the legacy of our school. We shall remember Ms. Yvette for her dedication to her craft as a teacher, her kindness, and strong relationships with all of her students, families, and her colleagues. Her contribution and care for our school community are an inspiration and will always be remembered and honored.  We all have been touched by her beauty inside and out, her amazing smile, and her laughter that was so contagious! 

 

We make a commitment to continue to cultivate the amazing groundwork and solid foundation she laid for our school, our children, and our community. We will build upon her amazing gift as a teacher and her deep love for children with honor. She will be deeply, deeply missed but NEVER forgotten. 

 

Please give generously to this scholarship fund in her name. Funds will go directly toward Children's House students who are in need of tuition assistance, as well as to aid in literacy initiatives for students.
