It is with great regret that we are informing you that the Board of Directors of the Legacy of Dr.
Josie R. Johnson Montessori School voted on Friday night, January 5, during an emergency
board meeting to close the school effective this Friday, January 12. It is with great sadness that
we will not be able to finish the school year due to a financial crisis.

This is a sad ending for us all. The board and school staff would like to wish you and your family
well in this next school year. The board will remain intact throughout the closure process and will
be available for any questions or concerns you have moving forward.

 

Thank you all again for your support through this extremely difficult transition.
